Trump has a big problem. He needs to construct a national campaign but many experienced Republican operatives do not want to work for him.
Yesterday, Trump made a bit of progress, hiring veteran political operative Michael Biundo as a “senior national adviser.”
Biundo worked for Rand Paul and then John Kasich during the Republican primary.
Yesterday, Biundo proudly tweeted out his new role and posted the news on his Facebook account:

But before joining Team Trump, Biundo made some revisions to his social media presence, deleting all references to Trump from his Twitter account. Here is what he didn’t want you to see:
As recently as last month, Biundo publicly identified as #NeverTrump.

Bind criticized the selection of Trump’s finance chairman, describing him as a “Soros money manager.”

Biundo mocked Trump’s ability to beat Hillary.

Biundo suggested that Trump’s candidacy was like an absurd dream sequence.

In a Facebook post that has not (yet) been deleted, Biundo had an idea for a bumper sticker, suggesting he preferred any of the other Republican candidates.

Biundo’s situation is similar to that of Trump’s new communication director, Jason Miller, who deleted dozens of anti-Trump tweets, including many with the hashtag #sleazydonald.
