As Trump emerges as the Republican nominee, a group of Republicans is working furiously to take him down. They fear his volatility and rhetoric will cost their party the White House — and possibly a lot more. But the people who are desperate to take him down — Ted Cruz, Mitt Romney and the Republican establishment — are the same people who built him up.
