The FBI has identified the suspect in the Charleston shooting as 21-year-old Dylann Roof. This is his Facebook photo:

A photo posted on Facebook by one of Roof’s “friends” shows him in front of his car, which has a Confederate license plate.
The sheriff had previously said that Roof’s car has a “very distinctive license plate.” The shooting is being investigated as a hate crime.
