UPDATED: North Hollywood shooting leaves seven wounded

A house party in North Hollywood erupted in gunfire early Sunday morning, leaving seven wounded, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Five men and two women were taken to a nearby hospital, although authorities said that none were in critical condition. Five had suffered gunshot wounds, and one of the women required surgery.

Two suspects were detained at the scene. It’s unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
