French officials have released a photo of a man they believe to be involved in the deadly Paris terrorist attacks, saying he is “dangerous” and on the run.
The Associated Press reports that Salah Abdeslam, a 26-year-old born in Brussels, is suspected of renting the car that brought attackers to the Bataclan concert hall in Paris. The 1,500-seat music hall had been sold out on Friday, and was the site of the deadliest attack of the night.
Abdeslam is reportedly one of three brothers suspected to have been involved in the terrorist plot, which played out at several location across the city and left 132 dead and 352 wounded. According to the Associated Press, one of the brothers has already been arrested, and another died in the attack.
Officials reportedly released Abdeslam’s photo specifically because he is still on the run, and warned the public not to engage with him. “Do not intervene yourself,” the message posted Sunday reads.
