Appearing at the Commander-in-Chief forum on MSNBC, Donald Trump said the generals of the U.S. military were “embarrassing” to America.
Trump said that the generals had been “reduced to rubble.”
Trump has previously said he knows more about ISIS than the generals.
All of this is particularly confusing, since, just hours earlier, Trump said that he would rely on the generals of the U.S. military to create a plan to defeat ISIS.

“We are going to convey my top generals and give them a simple instruction. They will have 30 days to submit to the Oval Office a plan for soundly and quickly defeating ISIS. We have no choice,” Trump said Wednesday in North Carolina.
Pressed on this contradiction, Trump said that “there will probably be different generals, to be honest with you.”
It’s unclear where Trump will find these “different generals,” or how they will have time to craft a plan to defeat ISIS in 30 days.
