HILLARY: I am scared of what this election means for me.

SLAPPY: I don’t know that I’ve known heartache, but whatever I felt this morning felt like heartache.

TEXT: They didn’t want Trump to win. Now they have to cope.

SLAPPY: We’re not going to all be okay. Today is a tough day for a lot of people.

RAHMATABADI: It’s just hard not to be afraid as a person of brown skin with a beard.

HILLARY: I’m hoping that, you know, as a queer person, that my rights aren’t taken away.

ROEDER: This isn’t what we stand for.

RAHMATABADI: You know, it hurts, but we lose sometimes.

SLAPPY: It’s okay for it to be tough and it’s okay for us to be disappointed, but then figuring out, how do we move ahead.

ROEDER: I don’t know. I haven’t quite figured out what else I’m gonna do, but it’s a start.
