The Republican presidential primary has reached a new low.
Last week, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) mocked the size of Donald Trump’s hands: “His hands are the size of someone who is 5’2”… and you know what they say about people with small hands,” Rubio quipped.
This was a strategy advocated weeks ago by comedian Andy Richter. (He thought it was a joke.)
@JuddLegum I still say to go hard on the stubby fingers

Just a few minutes in to Thursday night’s FOX News debate, Trump responded by assuring a national audience that his stubby fingers were not indicative of a larger problem:
I have to say this. He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands. I have never heard of this. Look at those hands. Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands if they are small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there is no problem. I guarantee you.
Watch:
Trump later repeatedly referred to Rubio as “little Marco.”
As a reminder, this election will determine who will be in charge of the nuclear codes of the United States.
