Read the redacted Mueller report

The redacted report lays out some of the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller's probe.

The Justice Department on Thursday released a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report to Attorney General William Barr. The 448-page report lays out the results of Mueller’s probe of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and alleged collusion by members of the Trump campaign.

Mueller delivered his completed report to Barr on March 22. Two days later, Barr summarized its findings in a publicly released letter to Congress, saying that Mueller “did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts.” Barr said the report was less definitive on whether President Donald Trump attempted to obstruct the Russia probe, but he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein ultimately determined that “the evidence developed… is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.”

Since Barr’s summary memo was released, lawmakers, journalists, and the U.S. public have clamored for the Justice Department to release the full report so they can read for themselves the evidence that Mueller laid out.

ThinkProgress will publish stories throughout the day as our reporters have a chance to read the report.
