The suspects who allegedly killed 14 people and wounded 21 others in San Bernardino, California had enough armaments to kill a small town, according to law enforcement sources. Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik were armed with four guns and thousands of bullets during a violent encounter with police, and they had thousands more rounds of ammunition in their home.

Although the guns were originally bought legally, according to a federal agent, two assault rifles were later modified illegally.
