Early Friday morning conservative activist and executive director of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, appeared on President Donald Trump’s favorite television show, Fox & Friends, to talk about all the incredible achievements Trump has accomplished in his first year.
“It’s as if the more the other media networks refuse to tell the story of this presidency,” Kirk said. “If a Democrat president achieved a fraction of what President Trump has done, this last year, they would call it historic and they would call it breathtaking.”
Just a few hours later, President Trump tweeted out a thank you to Kirk.
“The President has accomplished some absolutely historic things during this past year.” Thank you Charlie Kirk of Turning Points USA. Sadly, the Fake Mainstream Media will NEVER talk about our accomplishments in their end of year reviews. We are compiling a long & beautiful list.

The timing of all of this is a bit curious. It comes just one day after The New Yorker published a bombshell of an article that detailed the racist attitudes at play in Turning Point USA, an organization whose mission is to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government,” in addition to defending the rights of conservative students on “leftist” college campuses.
The New Yorker reports disturbing racial bias from some of Turning Point’s top organizers. The group’s former national field director sent text messages to other members that read, “I hate black people. Like fuck them all . . . I hate blacks. End of story.”
Other black Turning Point members found themselves disinvited from organization events and forced to listen to speakers who “spoke badly about black women having all these babies out of wedlock,” according to one black former member.
Turning Point held their Student Action Summit this week in West Palm Beach, Florida. Notable guests included Fox News hosts and contributors like Judge Jeannine Pirro and Tomi Lahren, as well as and Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe.
The crown jewel in their line-up, however, is maybe their biggest fan, President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

Kirk told The New Yorker he considers Don Jr., to be a “personal friend.” The two met at the Republican National Convention, where Kirk was invited to give a speech. According to him, the two “hit it off” and Kirk later became a Trump campaign specialist in youth outreach.
